Our school has elementary and secondary levels, 200 teachers, 67 members of the staff, and 1238
students (from age 10 to 18). The school it´s situated at Funchal, the principal city from Madeira
Island, Portugal, it was created at 1978, just after the portuguese revolution in 1974, when the
democratic regime made very importants advances in education. Nowadays, the school has a
diverse educational offer, including the Regular Education from 5th to 12th year, the Vocational
Education and Courses of Education and Training, in order to prepare young people in our society to the work market and the future increasingly competitive, not neglecting the appreciation and respect for diversity.
